Top 5 Art and Design Apps on Android in Portugal, Q2 2021

During the second quarter of 2021, the performance of the top 5 Art and Design apps on the Android platform in Portugal revealed interesting trends. Here are the highlights based on data from Sensor Tower.

Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $2.3K in mid-April. Weekly downloads showed a slight fluctuation, reaching around 4.1K at the end of March and then stabilizing around 2.7K to 3.3K throughout the quarter. The app maintained a strong user base with weekly active users hovering between 34K and 36K.

ibis Paint X had consistent weekly revenue of around $6. Downloads ranged from approximately 2.1K to 3.7K, with the highest downloads occurring at the end of March. Weekly active users saw a slight decline from 26.8K at the beginning of the quarter to around 24.2K by the end.

FlipaClip: Create 2D Animation showed a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $16 in late May. Downloads varied significantly, with a high of around 1.9K in late May and June. Weekly active users also increased, reaching a peak of 3.7K towards the end of June.

Sketchbook remained stable in terms of downloads and active users. Weekly downloads were consistent, ranging from approximately 560 to 1K. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly, from around 5.7K to 6.7K over the quarter.

Fonty - Draw and Make Fonts saw a significant spike in downloads in late May, reaching over 3.1K. This spike was mirrored in active users, which peaked at around 3.8K during the same period. However, both metrics saw a decline towards the end of the quarter.
